Lord Byron Distillery’s Pure Single Rum was awar

Lord Byron Distillery’s Pure Single Rum was awarded a gold medal in the London Spirits Competition in April this year, obtaining a score of 92 out of 100. This score was the highest score for any rum entered from Australia with Lord Byron Distillery being one of only six distilleries in Australia to achieve a gold medal for any spirit type at this prestigious and highly competitive contest.
It has been our goal from the outset, to create a world class pure single rum right here in Byron Bay, Australia.

In the words of our friend and mentor Bill Lark:
“This rum is from 2018 cane harvest molasses that has been aged in a 260 litre, refired red wine cask. Bottled in 2021 at cask strength as a numbered release the beautiful caramel, chocolate, licorice and raisin flavours perfectly compliment the cleanliness of the double distilled spirit. This is a great sipper and also a collectable. Buy one to keep, one to drink and one to sell in time.”
